Oh my, it has been a hot, hot June/July. With nothing but temps in the 90's and hot, dry wind on most days, it has been downright miserable to be outdoors. The wildfires have been blazing out of control for a few weeks now. But, yesterday we finally got rain. Beautiful, wet, gorgeous rain. No sign of the mountains or the sun. But that was okay. At least for a day. It's amazing how much better it feels in the 70's. At least for me. To be honest, I could easily live in an all-70's climate. On the flip side....my vegetable garden is thriving in this heat:)

I loved the rain!!! It was such a beautiful day yesterday. Back to upper 90's next week....gag.
