I'm feeling a little sentimental today.
I ran across this picture of my parents
from back in the 1950's.
I just love it--
I guess because it's from a time and place
long ago.
When they were young and relatively carefree.
Before the 9 kids
and the ups and downs of family life.
I had never seen the photo
until I was going through a box
at their house back in October.
I thought it was a shame
to have it sitting in a box,
unseen from the world.
So, now it will share a prominent place
in my home,
with other important photos.
Right where it belongs.
