52 photos project {the closed window}
This week's photo prompt includes no faces or facial expressions. Just body language is used to portray a feeling or tell a story. I chose to take a selfie of a stolen moment of peace and calm amongst the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. It's moments like this that keep me grounded. So loving my guitar right now!

Me, Myself and I
I had to do a selfie today for my photo class.
Talk about out of my comfort zone.
I love to take pictures of other people.
I don't even mind being in pictures
other people are taking.
But, to take my own picture . . . .
AWKWARD!
It was actually easier than I thought, though.
I just pulled a chair up to the window,
grabbed my guitar to relax me,
set the timer on my camera
and click. . .
it was over that fast.
I'm not sure what the big deal was.
It really does help
to do these types of things
that are out of the box for me.
It makes me stretch and grow a little.
Which is good for all of us, right?

It's leap day.
A day that only comes along every four years.
I think it should be a special day.
A day to do something out of the ordinary.
Something adventurous.
Something new.
Something different.
So far, I have spent the day
trying to get a picture of myself suspended in the air.
Not an easy feat.
I also read the first 60 pages of Harry Potter
and put some pork chops in the crockpot.
(Wow. . . I have got to get me a life :)
Tell me about your day.
