there was no way around it

After suffering with a cold/flu bug for the past couple of days, I was forced to fill the air with the scent of warm, delicious chocolate chip cookies. It's not that I'm going to eat them. I wouldn't be able to taste them even if I did. It's just that it smells so right for this time of year. Cooler temps = warm soup AND warm chocolate chip cookies. It's elementary. I figure I might as well enjoy some good smells... since my throat feels like it's been power raked, my head feels like it's going to explode, and my body aches like no other. I don't have even an ounce of energy right now. Other than that, I'm peachy!! Mmmmm... warm peach crisp...
