Oh no, it's here.... The ONLY bad thing about living in a state surrounded by mountains. The inversion has arrived. I woke up this morning to a light pink, creamy haze throughout the valley. Just the outline of our beautiful mountains showed up. Fifteen minutes later, the same view looked like this....
Hmmmmm.... If you look really close, you can barely see the outline of the mountains. It's a little disconcerting to be honest. It means exercise indoors, no recess for school children, elderly and others with lung issues should stay inside and absolutely no wood burning fires in the fireplace. People are also encouraged to carpool in order to cut down on unnecessary pollution. The upside? It generally only lasts for a couple of weeks. And, let's be honest, it's really kind of pretty:)
