Yesterday, our family celebrated
a momentous occasion
as our youngest child
graduated from college.
Brooke is now officially
a smartypants!!
I wanted to post a distinguished
picture of her in cap and gown
with her diploma
proudly displayed in front of her.
But, she opted for this more
authentic picture
that represents our family's
sense of humor
(or uncontrollable love of ice cream).
Of course that's the first thing we did
after the ceremony.

probably wondering why the attention,
for the first time in his life,
is NOT on him...
