The best decision of my life was made 29 years ago, today,
when I married the love of my life.
We had planned to spend this year's anniversary
on a sandy beach somewhere warm.
I had a vision of writing our names and the date in the sand,
photographing it and then blogging about it.
That was before the surgery.
Instead, I had a brilliant idea
while I was in the shower this morning.

Okay, it's not exactly a sandy beach,
but it was nice and warm:)
If there's one thing I've learned over the past 29 years,
it's this--
Sometimes you have to punt.
